Hearts won't re-sign free agent Bobie Ansah

Hearts of Oak have ruled out re-signing free agent defender Akwesi Bobie Ansah.

The fullback was among 11 players released by Asante Kotoko last week.

Hearts of Oak’s Recruitment Committee has denied making contacts with the right back and has insisted that he does not fall within their plans.

“I don’t think Bobie Ansah is part of our plans so it is really strange to hear in the news that we intend to bring him back to the club,” a member of Hearts’ technical team told sportscrusader.com.

“We don’t have anything against him but simply put, he does not fit into our plans so there is no way will go for him. I also want to confirm that we have not made contacts with him or his managers so the reports out there are all false.”
