Hearts' supporters demonstrate against luring Taylor

A group of football fans, mostly Accra Hearts of Oak supporters on Sunday staged a demonstration to protest against the "uncivilised" way in which the club's star player, Charles Taylor is being lured away by a rival club.

The protest was held during the recess of Accra Hearts of Oak and Pepple United of Nigeria friendly soccer match, which the later won 4-0. The protesters carried placards some of which read "Taylor is not for sale, GFA come out with FIFA rules on Taylor, IMC go away from Taylor and Football with politics create war."

The placard bearers, who were cheered by the crowd later placed them at conspicuous positions where GFA officials could read them.
