Owner of Tema Youth, Wilfred Osei Kweku Palmer, has expressed disappointment over Hearts of Oak’s failure to sign goalkeeper Ernest Sowah.
Hearts had shown keen interest in the goalkeeper till the ninth hour when the goalie joined Asante Kotoko on a three-year deal.
His transfer to Kotoko means the Phobians must head hunt for a quality custodian to lead the goalkeeping department come the 2015-16 season.
Palmer who managed Sowah at Tema Youth between 2007 and 2009, thinks it would have been better for the shot-stopper to join Hearts.
“I will say that Ernest Sowah would have been better off with Hearts of Oak than Asante Kotoko. When you look at the Hearts of Oak team last season, they were finding it difficult to get a solid backline and I was surprised when they allowed Sowah to slip easily through their hands.
"Whatever, Hearts of Oak should have everything to get him,” Palmer told Starr Sports.
The young goalkeeper was part of the Black Stars squad for the AFCON 2015 in Gabon
