Hearts set to break Ashgold's unbeaten run

Accra, Oct 12, GNA 96 Troubled Accra Hearts of Oak hope to overcome their unpleasant runs in the League by bringing to an end the unbeaten run of Obuasi Ashgold in the sixth week game of the Onetouch Premier League.

The Phobians have only managed eight points from the five matches played and so far are out of the first four places that will provide automatic entry to next year's Confederation of Africa Football (CAF) competitions.

The former Premiership lords will therefore find a defeat unpleasant especially as they seek to mark their return to Accra with a win after shifting play from their adopted Ho Stadium to regain the confidence of their teeming supporters.

It is in this vein that they have sworn to move to every length for a win over the Miners though the Obuasi lads appear to be in no mood to relinquish their position at the top of the table.

Chances for the Obuasi lads remain equal as they have resolved to provide Hearts with a very stiff opposition.

Apart from their determination to keep their lead on the table, the morale of the Miners have been boosted by their recent success in South Africa where they won an invitational tournament by grabbing the =93Macufe Cup=94 when they beat Mamelodi Sundowns by a lone goal courtesy Emmanuel Osei Kuffour.

The league leaders, on record seem to posses what it takes to carry the day and their worse result could be a draw. Kumasi Asante Kotoko look the favorites to pick the three points at stake when they clash with Kpando Heart of Lions at the 93Waterloo=94 park at their adopted home at Konongo.

One can always be sure of Berekum Arsenals picking the three points at stake any time they are playing at the Golden City Park in Berekum and Tema Real Sportive appear to be dangling in trouble.

Gamba All Blacks after their impressive start in the premiership have so far seen some unpleasant runs in recent times and will be out to ditch King Faisal at their Swedru Stadium even though it will seem to be a difficult game for the 93Ozii Ozaa=94 boys.

Real Tamale United (RTU) will complete their three match home ban at the Obuasi Len Clay Stadium with a game against Feyenoord but with the poor away record, they do not look too good to pick the maximum points at stake.

At the Sunyani Coronation Park, Tano Bofoakwa will have the opportunity to prove to all that their victory over Olympics was no fluke when they host Sekondi Hasaacas. Accra Great Olympics and Power FC will lock horns at the Ho Stadium in a match which could go anyway, just as the game between Liberty Professionals and Tema Youth at the Dansoman Park. 12 Oct. 06
