Accra Hearts of Oak will welcome league leaders AshantiGold as the former seek a convincing win in the resumed First Capital Plus Premier League at the Accra Sports Stadium on Wednesday.

The match, initially fixed for the weekend was postponed due to the Phobians' involvement in the CAF Confederations Cup.

Hearts, having bowed out of the continental competition will seek to save their blushes in the domestic league.

Already, Hearts' Coach Herbert Addo has hinted that "My target was four cups, so now minus one, it is left with three and therefore that is where our focus will be. Everything in front of us, we have to go for it. I hope we get better luck with the other three remaining cups and win’’.

Underscoring his team's motivation to grasp what is left of their season, the visitors could be in for a grueling duel.

The Phobians currently lying 12th on the log should be motivated to up their game against the league leaders who have proved a handful for every opposition home and away thus far.

In in-form Yakubu Mohammed, AshGold looked favoured on paper as the club’s leading scorer come face-to-face with Hearts' Gilbert Fianmenyo who has scored eight times to put himself in contention for the top scorer award.
