Hearts players owed two months salaries - report

Hearts players are owed two months salaries amid their impressive run in the CAF Confederation Cup, according to reports in the Ghanaian media.

The players have not been paid for the months of February and March but have been rewarded $200 each for progressing to the final lap of the continental competition.

Hearts are struggling to combine the huge financial burden brought as result of their participation in the Africa competition and have been unable to settle outstanding wages and bonuses.

Despite a purple patchy run on the domestic scene, the Phobians are soaring high in the CAF Confederation after recording a famous 3-2 win over Senegalese side Olympique Ngor to set-up a final qualifying date against Malian side Djoliba.
