Hearts pardon trio

Accra, Oct 13, GNA 96 Accra Hearts of Oak has extended an olive branch to three players suspended indefinitely over a month ago. The trio are Ekow Ghansah, Michael Donkor and Laud Quartey. Thomas Okine, Acting Chief Executive Officer of Hearts said the decision was to afford the players an equal chance of fighting for places in the pruning down exercise the club is embarking upon. The Phobians are trimming down their current team to 26 at the recommendation of coach Mitko Kostadinov Dobrev.

Ghansah, Donkor and Quartey were suspended indefinitely for professional indiscretion.

The players had subsequently submitted their letters of apology to the Hearts Management.

The CEO said the exercise was to ensure discipline in the team. 13 October 2006
