Hearts of Oak will qualify - Soulama

Hearts of Oak goalkeeper Soulama Abdoulaye has assured the teeming fans of the capital-based club the team will do everything within their power to secure a qualification in Benin.

The Phobians won the first leg by a solitary goal a fortnight ago and before advancing to the next stage of the Caf Confederation Cup they must battle AS Police in the reverse fixture in Benin Saturday.

However, Abdoulaye has assured the Phobians to remain positive ahead of today’s game.

“Hearts of Oak fans should not worry, we are in Benin with one aim which is qualification and I want to assure all the fans to remain positive because we will beat AS Police to qualify. AS Police can't be an obstacle on our way, we have to silence them and that is our target now, qualification and nothing else,” Abdoulaye told Goal Ghana.

“They are a young team and they played very good football in the first leg, they are playing home now and have everything to their advantage but we will work on their lapses so that we can capitalise on them to beat them.”
