Accra Hearts of Oak are on the market looking for a new technical brain following the club's failure to land Medeama's Tom Strand.

Hearts were in pole position to secure the services of the Swede, but the parties involved failed to reach an agreement on the deal.

Strand was picked ahead of two other experienced coaches (names withheld). But after the botched deal, the club has opted for head-hunting for a coach instead of shortlisting potential trainers.

Furthermore, the club has revealed, they need a coach who is young and energetic, and can transfer his knowledge of the game to the players.

They insist the coach must transform the club into playing attractive football on the local scene, though the utmost target of the club is to get into the CAF Champions League.
