Ghana Premier League giants Hearts of Oak are considering adding to their midfield options with the acquisition of versatile midfielder Frederick Ansah Botchway.

Ghanaguardian understands that Hearts trainer Kim Grant is a huge fan of the Liberty Professionals versatile midfielder and is keen on signing him on as he seek to improve his squad ahead of the start of the Ghana premier league season.

Although there has not been any contact between the two clubs with regards to the transfer of Ansah, It is obvious the midfielder will improve the Phobian midfield especially as the Accra based club have not renewed the contract of Daniel Kodie and General captain Malik Akowuah.

Ansah has been a regular feature in the Liberty Professionals midfield set up since making his debut at the start if the 2015-16 season.

The central midfielder was one of the most high performing players in the just ended Normalization committee special competition, scoring three goals and making six assist in the 14 games he played.

Meanwhile, Hearts of Oak are currently undergoing a squad rebuilding and the Phobians have reportedly agreed a deal to sign Elmina Sharks goalkeeper Richard Attah.
