Accra Hearts of Oak are in talks with former Bechem United midfielder Augustine Okrah about a possible deal, according to sources within the club.

The diminutive midfielder who has had stints in Egypt with Alexandria-based side FC Smouha is currently unattached and could be looking to relaunch his career with the Phobians.

The Phobians are still in a team building process and could be looking to finalize a deal with the former Al Hilal player in the coming weeks.

Hearts gaffer Kim Grant has made a few signings already and would still need a few players to complete his dream team.

Okrah’s experience on the local scene coupled with his exposure outside Ghana could serve as a big plus for the Phobians should the deal go through. The 25 year old midfielder has also played in Sweden for Hacken.

He was top scorer and best player in the 2013-14 Ghana Premier League season with Bechem United.
