Hearts of Oak deny coach Keni paid salaries

Hearts of Oak have rubbished reports that their Japanese coach Kenichi Yatsuhashi has not been paid his monthly salaries since taking over about two months ago.

The Accra-based giants also poured cold water on reports that his monthly is $2000 which led to some ridicule of the quality of the trainer.

Local media had reported the Japanese trainer had not been paid since September and his hotel bills in arrears which has led the trainer in extreme difficulty resulting in him having to catch local buses 'trotro' for training.

But the Phobians have poured cold water on those circling reports saying they are false and preposterous.

"The coach was paid when the team was in Libya for the pre-season friendly games against Ahli Tripoli and that was for two months,” Hearts of Oak PRO Kwame Opare-Addo told GHANASoccernet.com.

"The amount paid was for two months since we had already settled his September salary. I wish to state that his salary is not US$ 2,000 as reported in some quarters."
