Hearts of Oak are on the verge of signing Aduana Stars' shot stopper Stephen Adams, Allsports.com.gh can exclusively report.

The 26 year old goalkeeper has been on the Accra giants’ wish list for the past two seasons but the former premier league champions failed to meet the asking price of the former Real Sportive goalie.

The Phobians are now desperate to get a back-up for their experienced goalkeeper Soulama Abdoulaye who has not had any stiff competition from the likes of Kingsley Kissi, Mutawakilu Seidu and Tetteh Lugard.

According to Allsports.com.gh investigation, Tetteh Luagrd and Kingsley Kissi will be released and the Phobians need an instant replacement for the duo and their number one target now is Stephen Adams.

“We have had talks with Aduana Stars and Stephen Adams and everything is on the right track, we will definitely complete his move in the coming days, Adams has been on the radar of Hearts of Oak for the past two seasons and we think this is the right moment for us to sign him because he is ready to don the Hearts colours,” the source told Allsports.com.gh.
