Charles Taylor Charles Taylor

Accra Hearts of Oak legend, Charles Taylor says the current leadership of Accra Hearts of Oak Asante Kotoko have made the club look like an ordinary Colts Football Club.

The former Hearts of Oak deadly forward speaking on Kumasi based Abusua FM said until management of the club sits up and put good measures in place to make the club more attractive and as well make the playing body happy, the club’s highly cherished status will continue to decline tremendously.

Taylor who had heydays during his playing days at both Hearts and Kotoko was speaking on the current tailspin the Accra based club is going through, a situation which has seen the team lose instrumental defender Vincent Atinga with striker Kwame Kizito most likely to say goodbye to the phobians despite his blistering form in the 2016/2017 Ghana Premier League.

”The Hearts of Oak I knew some years back isn’t the same Hearts of Oak I’m seeing today, I feel the club do not have leaders presently because they have made the club look like an ordinary Colts team because nothing good is happening in the club now’’

”Even a second division team is better than Hearts of Oak currently because the current management utterances on radio doesn’t make the club attractive to players any more, how can a management member boldly say we owe our players four months salary. ‘’

”No sound player who wants something better in his football career would want to play for the team. Though some players would want to play for the club but how do you expect them to sign for the club when you don’t pay them on regular basis he asked.
