Hearts of Oak MD Frederick Moore preaches quick recovery after derby defeat to Kotoko

Hearts of Oak Managing Director Frederick Moore expects the playing body to bounce back in their next match after Sunday's 2-1 defeat to rivals Asante Kotoko in the Ghana Premier League derby.

The Phobians were bullish going into the match at the Accra Sports Stadium but were brought down back to earth.

A comeback from behind win at Liberty Professionals and the previous goalless draw at WAFA gave them confidence.

But Hearts were out-muscled by the Porcupine Warriors and an injury-time penalty put them to the sword.

''We are all disappointed from the board chairman down to management, everyone is disappointed because we had a lot of confidence going into the game,'' Moore told Kumasi-based Oyerepa FM.

''We will carry on with the ongoing work to make sure that we are successful in our next game.

''We go into every match wanting to win. Well done to Kotoko for the game they won, we felt we had a chance to win. It's just unfortunate we conceded the penalty which caused our loss.

''For the penalty i don't want to comment on it because if we have any case we will channel it to the appropriate quarters.''

Hearts of Oak travel to Dawu on Sunday to face Dreams FC.
