Hearts of Oak Clinch Top Spot Of The Premier League

Defending league champions, Accra Hearts of Oak defeated Real Tamale United by two-goals to one at the Accra Sports Stadium, in an oustsdaing league match, to clinch the top spot of the premier league. This win sends previous league leaders, Asante Kotoko to the second spot.

As is usual with Hearts of Oak, teenage sensation, Ishmael Addo who gave the champions both goals increased his goal tally to eleven.

Ishmael scored the first goal in the 10minute of the game, which was also his tenth goal this season and followed it up with his second in the 35 minute.

Back from recess, Real Tamale United lifted up their game and got a goal through Iddrisu Abass.

Real Tamale United tried getting the equalizer but Hearts goalkeeper; James Nanor stood between them and victory.

Hearts of Oak now have 36points and on top with Asante Kotoko having with 35points. Both clubs have one outstanding game to honour next Sunday.
