Newly appointed CEO of Hearts of Oak, Mark Noonan says he is disappointed that there is a delay in the start of the 2017/18 Ghana Premier League.

The Ghana top flight campaign was supposed to begin three weeks ago but was indefinitely postponed after Great Olympics served the nation's football governing body with an injunction letter in a protest against Bechem United for fielding an unqualified player against them last term.

And addressing the media at the unveiling of the club's 13 players ahead of the campaign, Mark Noonan could hide his disappointment about the unfortunate situation and asked the FA to put measures in the right place to solve the issue amicably.

“I’m very disappointed that that’s the case. It is a situation I have never seen before and the fact that it’s a pretty simple issue. Was the player legal or not and why must it takes court of law to solve that?”, Noonan quizzed.

Noonan who was appointed last week as Hearts CEO was introduced to the media last Wednesday at the World Trade Center.
