Hearts express gratitude to all for support

Accra, Sept. 13, GNA - Accra Hearts of Oak Sporting Club Limited has express its heartfelt gratitude to all who participated in the unique ceremony that conferred its Most Valuable Coach of the century Award to Sir Cecil Jones Attuquayefio last week.

"It is our fervent wish that the lessons of replicating such gestures by Government, other Sports Associations and Clubs would always find the needed support and encouragement from all and sundry". Mr Ashford Tetteh Oku, Administrative Manager of Hearts in a statement issued in Accra on Sunday copied to GNA Sports said the Club feels so elated with the dignified presence, contribution and support of the Deputy Minister for Youth and Sports, Nii Nortey Duah as well as the Chairman for the occasion, Mr Kofi Totobi Quakyi.

It also mentioned the presence of members of Retired National Footballers Association of Ghana, (RENFAG) Coaches Association, Ghana Football Association, Premier League Board, Ghana League Clubs Association, officials, Patrons and Directors, Accra Hearts of Oak Old Players Association, (AHOOPA), National Chapters Committee, the Ladies wing and other supporters of the Club and all other distinguished personalities.

The statement said the Club's appreciation also goes to some of them who came from abroad as well as the sporting media who made the event a very successful one and deserving of 'our commendations and sincerest appreciation'.
