Hearts deny US$ 150,000 signing fee for new coach Herbert Addo

Hearts of Oak have watered down reports that new coach Herbert Addo received a signing on fee of US$150,000.

The experienced trainer has signed a two-year deal to take charge of the capital club- for the second time in his career.

“We categorically deny your report that coach Herbert Addo was paid $150,000 as signing on fee before joining us. It also not correct that the coach will receive at least $2,000 as monthly salary,” a Hearts statement read.

“As a responsible institution, we cannot be pushed to breach confidentiality with regard to the remuneration of coach Herbert Addo.

“Nonetheless, we wish to state emphatically that coach Herbert Addo’s monthly salary as given in your story is far from correct, while the fantastic enticement fee you quoted is much further off the mark.”
