Hearts couldn’t maintain Herbert Addo

Former Ghanaian international, Willie Klutse has condemned Hearts of Oak for lacking the endurance and maintenance skill to keep a very good coach like Herbert Addo.

Herbert Addo returned to the Phobians for the second time after guiding them to a second league place in an unbeaten season that saw Hearts lose the title to sworn rivals, Kumasi Asante Kotoko.

The veteran coach was relieved of his post of his post halfway through the season after a run of poor results but the ‘eleven to one’ team approached the man who led them to 6th league place in the 2014/15 season.

Willie Klutse who is the technical director of Tema-based, Inter Allies has criticised Hearts for the poor treatment of the experienced tactician.

“Hearts were just not able to maintain him just because his mentality didn’t match theirs,” he told sportscrusader.com

“We do know how to use him and that’s why we turned to him immediately he was available,” he added.
