Hearts coach blames Aduana draw on fatigue

Hearts of Oak coach Nebojsa Vucicevic says the effects of their round trip to Wa resulted in the disappointing stalemate with Aduana Stars on Wednesday.

The Phobians stumbled in their bid to overtake rivals Asante Kotoko on the League log after drawing 0-0 draw with the dethroned champions at the Accra Sports Stadium.

Vucicevic believes his troops were physically drained by the trip to All Stars and had little time to adjust before facing Aduana.

''My team looked very tired today and it is not surprising at all considering the long journey we had to make to play All Stars,'' the Serbian trainer told MTNFootball.com.

"We had to play Aduana just a few days after returning from Wa and this had a negative toll on the team."

Vucicevic however insists he is proud of his team’s response though being subjected to play under harsh conditions.

"I was really satisfied with the performance of my boys even though we barely have had time to rest," the Serbian trainer said.

"We now have some days to work before our next game and hopefully we will get the result," he added.
