Hearts of Oak head coach Frank Nuttall has sent his sincerest condolences to Kumasi Asante Kotoko.

The Porcupine Warriors were involved in an accident last Wednesday, which resulted in the death of their Equipment Manager Thomas Obeng Asare whilst a number of their playing body and technical team got injured.

Following the sad event, last Sunday’s scheduled Kotoko-Hearts game was postponed to an unknown date by the Premier League Board.

Speaking after Monday’s training session, Nuttall shared his sympathies with the Kotoko family.

“First of all, my condolences and the team’s condolences to the late equipment manager of Kotoko [Thomas Obeng Asare], and the family of the equipment manager – my sympathies go to them,” he told accraheartsofoaksc.com.

“My sympathies also go out to everyone connected with Kumasi Asante Kotoko and we wish them a speedy recovery and we wish them well.

“What happened is disastrous and very sad. It is serious and really sad and so our thoughts and prayers are with them.”
