The Technical Team of Accra Hearts of Oak has commenced it’s justify exercise for its junior team, the Under-17 section.

Head Coach of Hearts’ Under-17 team, Dauda Lutterodt who is leading the exercise in the search for young football talents to form the Hearts Under-17 squad confirmed to sportscrusader.com that the program which started this morning will end most probably on Friday.

Dauda Lutterodt remains confident that the exercise will yield positive fruits as he aims at building a youthful team to feed Hearts’ first team from next year.

“As a club we have embraced the Under-17 policy the Football Association intends to implement. That is the way to go if we want to catch them young to feed the senior teams. We should not always be buying several players during every transfer period”.

“As a team we should have a good foundation policy where we will groom players to feed the first team. With that, we will cut cost and it will also help us because our young players will understand our philosophy before they graduate to the first team which will make it easier to function in the first team”.

The rest of the Hearts Technical team, Manager, Herbert Addo, Team Manager Sabahn Quaye and Assistant Coach Stephen Abugri are all offering support for the selection for the junior team
