PLB sees the game between Hearts and Kotoko as a normal one PLB sees the game between Hearts and Kotoko as a normal one

Premier League Board (PLB) Chairman, Ashford Tetteh-Oku has insisted the upcoming super clash between Kumasi Asante Kotoko and Accra Hearts of Oak is just a normal match, and, as such, they are treating it the same way they treat all other matches.

The PLB Chairman confirmed to Class 91.3FM’s Kwame Dwomoh Agyemang that all security arrangements and pre-match preparations have been done.

To him, pundits have always raised the stakes high as far as games between Kotoko and Hearts are concerned, but noted that the PLB sees the encounter as a normal game.

He appealed to the general public to consider the game as normal and desist from any violent confrontation.

Mr Tetteh-Oku, speaking on preparations towards the super clash on Sunday, revealed that the Referees Appointment Committee has selected the referees for the match and they trust that the adjudicators for the day will do a good job.

“The PLB and referees committee are [both] in the same boat gearing towards promoting the same product, so, we coordinate to ensure everything goes on during the match”, he said.
