After finalizing the deal, Chief Executive Officer of Charger Limited, producers of Happy Man Bitters, Emmanuel Bortey Borketey, told GHANAsoccernet.com in an exclusive interview that, he will continue to render assistance to clubs in the country to help develop football.

"I believe if Ghana football win everybody wins. I believe in the quality of our clubs but it's an open secret that they lack the financial muscles to compete at the highest level, so we [Happy Man Bitters] have come to assist in developing our football."

"I hope this sponsorship will help Chelsea in a small way achieve their ambitions in the coming season."

Having signed bumper deals with the National Circles Council of Asante Kotoko and Aduana Stars, Mr. Borketey was asked if his outfit is only interested in sponsoring elite division clubs, he answered, "Like I said earlier, we are bent on helping the development of football in the country hence we'll not rule out associating ourselves with lower-tier clubs."

The Director of Berekum Chelsea, Oduro Sarfo expressed his gratitude to Happy Man Bitters for their financial backing and insisted they will do their best to make the deal a worthwhile in the forthcoming campaign.

"I want to thank Happy Man Bitters for seeing something good in us. They have done their part and now it's left with us to do ours on pitch.

"They will be expecting more from us in the sense that when we are performing well in the league, they can boast that yes, that's my product. So I believe we have to do more to raise our flag and Happy Man Bitters name high this season."

Charger Ghana Limited, who are producers of Happy Man Bitters, becomes the club’s third sponsor ahead of the new season after Soccabet and S.O Frimpong Transport Services.
