Hannover 96 coach Mirko Slomka is interested in signing Ghana striker Raphael Dwamena to help the Bundesliga II side.
Slomka has held talks with the player's representatives and assured him of regular game time.
Dwamena has been down the pecking order at Spanish La Liga side Levante and Slomka wants to give him an escape route.
The 23-year-old struggled for game time in his first season at the club and managed just a paltry 12 league appearances.
Dwamena joined the Frogs last summer from Swiss Super League side FC Zurich.
But Hannover 96 must fend off competition from Spanish side Real Oviedo.
