Handball league enters 18th week

Accra, Nov 29, GNA - The Handball Association of Ghana (HAG) has released fixtures of the 18th week league matches.

The 18th week league matches starts on Thursday, November 30, with Air Force hosting the Ghana Police at the Burma Camp whilst Fire Service welcome Future Stars at the Fire Academy as Prisons Service takes on Ghana Navy at the Prisons Complex on the same day.

On Saturday, Ghana Army and Hostac Club will sort thi ngs out at the Azumah Nelson Sports Complex whilst Asomdwe Club and Old Hands open up hostilities at the Scared Heart School. Results of the previous week matches are as follows: Ghana Army defeated Future Stars 26-24 with the Navy silencing Asomdwe Club 27 -21.

Hostac FC lost 28-36 to the Prisons Service with Old Hands losing 29-36 to Ghana Air force.

Menawhile balloting for the De Youngsters knockout took place at the Prisons Complex last Saturday. The Fire Service will defend the men's trophy whilst the Police Service defend the women's trophy which commences next week.
