Gyimah is fit for defence - Eric Tinkler

Under fire Orlando Pirates boss Eric Tinkler has defended his decision to always use Edwin Gyimah in defense.

The Bucs saw a bad campaign in the league turn worse after losing 2-0 at home to Golden Arrows.

Answering questions from the Media on why he keeps using Gyimah in defense Tinkler said the Ghanaian had proven in the past he was capable of doing a good job at the heart of defence.

“”Gyimah has played in defence at other teams. I have spoken to coaches about his strengths and that’s what guides the decision” Tinkler said

Pirates are now 13th on the league table going into the Soweto derby this weekend
