Gyan reiterates desire to play for Kotoko before hanging boots

Former Ghana skipper Asamoah Gyan has reiterated his desire to play for Asante Kotoko in the Ghana Premier League before hanging his boots.

The former Sunderland goal poacher re- affirmed his decision to end his footballing career at Ghanaian powerhouse Asante Kotoko when speaking to reporters in Kumasi.

Gyan emphatically stated that he will play in Ghana before he retires from football.

“I’ve already stated before that Asante Kotoko will be my last club before I retire, let’s see what will happen, I am talking to clubs including local teams,” he said.

Gyan is currently club-less after his contract expired with Turkish giant Kayserispor.

The legendary all time top scorer for the Black Stars has never hidden his love and passion for the Porcupine Warriors, paying for their training at the Accra Academy School Park recently.
