Ghana striker Asamoah Gyan has been excused from today's friendly against Gon iabn France because of the visa problem he faced in England.
The UAE-based player has left for his club Al Ain after coach Goran Stevanovic gave him the permission to join his club to train.
England-based John Paintsil will also not play in the game in Paris because of the same problem.
The two players were both stranded in England as they were both denied visas to join the Black Stars in France.
Gyan and Paintsil were supposed to have joined the squad in France on Thursday but could not depart because of the French Embassy's 'intransigence'.
They were scheduled to make an appeal on Monday and join the Black Stars camp that night if they receive a favourable response.
Even if they are granted the visa on appeal, they would not get the chance to train with the team before the game.
So after holding discussions with the Serbian coach over their predicament, the two players have been asked to rejoin their clubs.
Gyan has left England for the UAE to train with his club while Paintsil will leave London for Leicester.
He was in England after joining Puma to launch the new Black Stars jerseys.
