Greater Accra and Western Regions share honours

Accra, July 25, GNA – Western and Greater Accra Regions shared honours in the badminton competition at the ongoing National Unity Games.

Western Region picked up the gold medal in the male category, with the Greater Accra Region settling for the silver medal, whilst Ashanti Region and the Ghana Immigration Service (GIS) went home with bronze medals.

In the female category, Greater Accra Region won the gold medal, with the Western Region picking the silver medal.

Ashanti and Eastern Regions had to console themselves with bronze medals at the end of the week long thrilling badminton encounter.
