Government must invest In Mixed Martial Arts – Collins Zoiku

President Ghana Mixed Martial Arts Federation, (GHMMAF). Mr Collins Kofi Zoiku has urged the government of Ghana to invest in Mixed Martial Arts to enable to develop the game for more people to gain interest and create jobs for the citizenry.

Speaking to Takoradi base Sports Journalist Kobby Stonne in an exclusive interview after the exhibition fights organized by the Moslems on the Sallah day in Mina, Accra to demonstrate to the public.

Mixed martial arts (MMA) is a full-contact combat sport that allows both striking and grappling, both standing and on the ground, using techniques from other combat sports and martial arts Mr Zoiku believe with a little support from Government and the Ministry they can also achieve their goals with the talent he has seen so far.

Team Ghana will now prepare for 2017 IMMAF which is the biggest AFRICAN OPEN CHAMPIONSHIPS in Johannesburg, South Africa on 28th August - 2nd September 2017.
