  • Isaac Vorsah will be joining the newly promoted 2nd Bundesliga club TSG Hoffenheim in Germany. The 19-year-old Kotoko defender is on loan. The club has an option to sign him for 3 years ('til 2011) at the end of the season. Hoffenheim manager Jan Schindelmeiser said "We have had an eye on Isaac for quite a long time, he is one of the best defenders in Ghana and has got great potential, we are all sure that Isaac will have a great future with our club"

  • Liverpool has loaned Goodwin Antwi to Hartlepool. Accrington fans were gutted with the news he wouldn't be re-joining Stanley. The 19-year-old plays in central defence and was born in Ghana, he moved to Anfield from Spanish side Real Zaragoza in August 2005.

  • 28.06.07: Swedish side Hammarby's Ghana World Cup goalkeeper Richard Kingson, aged 29, has also been approached by newly promoted English premiership league side Birmingham to become back-up to their two goalkeepers.

  • Quincy Owusu-Abeyie is also on the list of Birmingham City. "Quincy would like to return to England and he welcomes the attention from Birmingham", says his manager Brian Berkleef, who got called by the Premier League-club. The attacker played 6 matches for Spartak Moskou this year, of which in four matches he was brought as a sub.

  • Isaac Vorsah is in talks with TSG Hoffenheim (fresh 2nd Bundesliga side).

  • 27.06.07: Nana Asare (20) and Abdul-Yakuni Iddi (21) have now officially signed for newly promoted Belgian side KV Mechelen. Both players spent last season on loan from Feyenoord, and the Belgian club opted to buy them.

  • Accrington Stanley manager John Coleman is set to open negotiations with Liverpool about the availability of Godwin Antwi this week. Ghanaian defender Antwi, 19, spent two months on loan at the Fraser Eagle Stadium at the end of last season, making nine League Two appearances, and Coleman is keen to bring the player back to the club for the new campaign.

  • (26.06)Matthew Amoah is in talks with FSV Mainz 05 today. He is not top priority target for the 2nd Bundesliga side, but: "he is a player on our list" according to manager Christian Heidel. He may cost Mainz €450,000 (Dortmund paid €400,000) and €680k salaray per year.
    Heidel: "He was never integrated in Dortmund. Doll even thought using him as a playmaker. He can play any position in attack"

  • Russian clubs Lokomotive and CSKA Moscow are after Asamoah Gyan

  • Austrian club SK Rapid Vienna will not sign Isaac Vorsah. His price tag of €750,000 is to much. Their budget is already suffering.

  • Five clubs are fighting for the signature of Nana Asare (Feyenoord, currently loaned to KV Mechelen). The 20-year-old Ghanaian left winger (Mechelen's captain) has been with Mechelen the past two season. He is attracting interests from club such as St. Truiden, Germinal Beerschoot, SV Roselare and Dutch club De Graafschap. Mechelen also wants to keep him.

  • 25.06.07: Schalke 04 are bidding to recruit Ghanaian captain Stephen Appiah, the Bundesliga club's new president Josef Schnusenberg said Monday. "We're going to do everything we can to acquire the player," said Schnusenberg of the 26-year-old midfielder who is under contract to Turkish side Fenerbahce until 2009.

  • German Bundersliiga side, Dortmund, confirmed that there are several requests/enquiries from Germany and abroad for Matthew Amoah. Dutch sides, NEC Nijmegen and Feyenoord have expressed interest

  • German 2nd Bundesliga side, SC Freiburg, are chasing the signature of Emmanuel Clottey(19). FC Kaiserslautern, Widzew Lodz (Poland) and a few french clubs are also interested in the Ghana premiership top scorer

  • The Swedish media reports that goalkeeper Danish outfit Aalborg and Birmingham are after Richard Kingston. His contract with Hammarby expires at the end of this month.

  • 23.06: Israeli media is reporting today that goalkeeper Richard Kingston will join Maccabi Tel Aviv

  • Sources in London suggest Charlton Athletic, who are managed by Alan Pardew who signed John Paintsil for West Ham, may be interested in taking the 26-year-old to The Valley.

  • Turkish side, Ankaragucu, have signed defender Habib Mohammed

  • Louis Hörger (22) will leave Heinderheimer SB. SC Freiburg is interested

  • Tony Tieku's contract with Tus Koblenz has not been extended. He is now looking for a new club. Tieku (33) is not in the plans of new coach Rapolder (ex Bielefeld coach). He featured 26 times for Koblenz in the 06/07 2nd Bundesliga season.

  • Issah Mohammed (26, former IFK Norrkopping player) is on trials with Swedish side. IF Sylvia.

  • Yaw Donkor (27) is on trials with FC Wil (Swiss Challenge League).

  • Gordon Addai (25) returns to Bonner SC (German Oberliga, 4th level) from Allemania Aachen II. He already featured for Bonn in 2000/01.

  • Jeremy Opoku-Karikari (20) extended his contract with FC St. Pauli (2nd Bundesliga) for one more year.

  • Tony Boateng and Tobias Oteng-Mensah extended their contracts with TSG Wörsdorf (4th level).

  • Former Berekum Arsenals utility player, Samuel Kyere has admitted El-Ahly of Egypt and Zamalek are interested in his services. The midfielder currently with Alexandria Ittihad club of Egypt has been linked to a number of clubs in the Arab World,but insists he would rather want to play in europe than to turn his back on Alexandria who made him a star.

  • 19 June: Ghana midfielder Haminu Dramani has joined Russian Cup winners Lokomotiv Moscow. The 21-year- moves from Turkish club Genclerbirligi on a four-year contract. Lokomotiv Moscow paid US$4m to secure the services of the Ghana international.

  • Bees striker and GPG Player of the Year Jo Kuffour has signed for AFC Bournemouth in a Bosman-style transfer. Kuffour, 25, scored 14 goals in the Bees relegation campaign last season and was offered a significantly improved deal to stay at Griffin Park but he instead opted to stay in Division One.

  • Newly-promoted Scottish Premier League side Gretna have signed Ghanaian youngster Abdul-Haq Seidu Osman on a one-year deal. The 20-year-old midfielder had been on trial at the borders club after being spotted playing for Southern Premier League side Maidenhead United in the first round of the FA Cup.

  • Heracles and Ajax came to an agreement on sunday night on a transfer of Emmanuel Boakye. The defender and Heracles agreed a 3-year deal. Boakye playing for Heracles on loan from Ajax

  • Frank Osei and Samuel Enzemaba are expected for trials with the Israeli side F.C Ashdod

  • Isaac Vorsah of Ashanti Kotoko is on trial in Austria with SK Rapid Wien

  • Samuel Johnson has been released by his Turkish club Kayserispor

  • Haminu Dramani is expected to move from his Turkish club, Gençlerbirli?i SK, to Lokomotiv Moscow for three million euros.

  • 14.06: Rimini have agreed terms with Roma over a co-ownership deal for midfielder Ahmed "Ciro Barusso" Apimah. Barusso is expected to start next season in the capital after Rimini agreed to cough up 50 per cent of his registration for £1.4 million. Barusso has also settled on personal terms over a five-year deal worth £200,000-a-season.

  • Feyernood hope to sign RKC Waalwijk midfielder Anthony Obodai

  • Turkish club Besiktas are planning to make a €3million bid for Rimini midfielder Ahmed "Ciro Barusso" Apimah. Besiktas placed second in the Turkish leage and will thus play in Champions league

  • The agent of Rimini midfielder Ahmed Barusso has revealed AC Milan remain in the frame for the Ghana international. Roma are regarded as favourites for Barusso, but Mauro Cevoli said: "I know that Roma and Rimini are speaking, but neither I nor the player have been contacted by them.
    "AC Milan have an excellent relationship with Rimini and talks have been ongoing since the winter break. But there's been nothing concrete."

  • Rimini sports director Walter Muratori has revealed Roma are closing in on Ghana midfielder Ahmed "Ciro Barusso" Apimah.
    Muratori said: "Barusso is 60% on his way to Roma. They have been showing strong interest in the player since January and his agent has close ties to Roma."

  • Abdul-Yakuni Iddi's loan to KV Mechelen from Dutch Feyenoord has been extended by one year.

  • (Rainbow Sports) Ghanaian Internationals Sadat Bukari and Louis Agyeman are set to sign for Tunisian champions Etoile Du Sahel. Etoile are paying $200,000 for Agyeman and 1 billion cedis for Bukari.

  • 08.06.07: Celtic are vying with Shalke for the signature of Fenerbahce midfielder Stephen Appiah. (The Sun)

  • Heerenveen are chasing Ajax defender Emmanuel Boakye, who has been on loan to Heracles.

  • Ibrahim Tanko (30) will next season take over as the assistant coach of SC Freiburg II.

  • West Ham are inviting offers for Ghana international fullback John Pantsil. Hammers boss Alan Curbishley has told Pantsil he can leave Upton Park if the right offer arrives.

  • French side, FC Toulouse, are interested in Derek Boateng of Beitar Jerusalem who is also a target of Newcastle.
