A two-hour explosive musical show will take place at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium ahead of Sunday’s 2016/17 Premier League, match day 17 fixture against Great Olympics. The show, organised by Kotoko Management, will start at 12 noon and end at 2pm.

It’s expected to be repeated at every home game with different artistes. On the bill for the maiden event are gospel giants Jack Alolome, Anita Afriyie, Nhyiraba Betty and two others.

Head of Communications, Obed Acheampong, who disclosed this to Asantekotokosc.com, explained that it’s an initiative Management has introduced to provide entertainment for the spectators and also boost attendance.

“It’s an initiative Management is introducing in the second round” he stated. “It’s to entertain fans especially those who come early; it’s also to boost patronage. The stadium is usually boring before the game starts; kickoff meanwhile is at 3pm”.

According to Obed Acheampong, the show will cost the spectators nothing. “There will be no additional charges. The gates opens at 10am and spectators will be charged the same amount they pay at every Kotoko home game – GH?5 at the Popular Stand, GH?8 at the Center Line and GH?15 at the VIP”.
