Goalkeeper Ernest Sowah agrees two-year deal with Hearts of Oak

Hearts of Oak have reached a two-year deal with goalkeeper Ernest Sowah in the ongoing Ghanaian transfer window, can confirm.

Sowah became a free agent after mutually terminating his contract with Asante Kotoko last Friday after he was deemed surplus to requirement by the Kumasi-based club. revealed earlier in the week that, the Phobians have opened negotiations with the experienced shot-stopper in an attempt to finalize the deal as soon as possible before the league resumes from the two-week break.

And according to grapevine information, the 30-year-old goalkeeper has completed talks with the Accra-based giants on a two-year deal.

The once-capped Ghana international was heavily linked with a switch to Hearts of Oak two season ago before he made a last-ditch move to join the Porcupine Warriors.

Hearts of Oak have encountered massive goalkeeping problems in the ongoing campaign - having conceded 13 goals despite using their then three registered first team goalkeeper in just 11 games into the season.

Sowah is expected to fill in the void left by Theophilus Jackson, who was part of the four players the club released last Friday for non-performance - the rest are Joshua Otoo, Cosmos Dauda, and Evans Quao.
