Miss Nina Efedi Okoroafor is urging Government and corporate entities to channel resources towards Blind Sports development as it would go a long way to create jobs for people with disability.

"Disability is not inability is a very true statement. Disability only means there is one aspects of you that can't work but other aspect of you reorient themselves to help you perform even better so with God and determination any person who is physically disabled, visually impaired, hearing impaired, any kind of disability can do what they possessed their minds down to do," the 23-year-old said.

Nina captained the Greater Accra Women's team that won the 2nd edition of National Goal Ball Championship by 8-7 over hosts Central Region at the University of Cape Coast Sports Hall.

"I would like to tell the National Sports Authority, Ministry Of Youth and Sports, Government and every other person to bring attention to persons with disability and consecrate on us so that persons with disability will also be confident, self empowered and get some jobs to do and in the end Ghana will win". She added.

Nina made her call in an interview with Takoradi-base Sports Journalist Kobby Stonne, adding "this is what has made other nations like China, Brazil, Turkey, USA, Canada, Japan, Russia, Israel, Australia and Germany so great, strong and powerful in world Goal Ball Competitions. So we don’t have to relax at all. There must be more financial injection," she noted.
