Gideon Baah delighted after making Ghana debut

Ghana and HJK defender Gideon Baah says it was a wonderful feeling to have made a bow for his nation against Canada and was looking forward to building on the strong display.

The former Asante Kotoko man played 30 minutes as Ghana pulled off a 1-1 draw game against Canada in Washington.

Baah who was making his Ghana debut in the game acquitted himself well and looked comfortable from the word go.

He says the feeling was memorable and that there is supreme delight in representing your country.

“It was a great game and playing for your country is always an honor that every player dreams of,” the HJK multi-functional defender said after the game

“It was nice and I felt very comfortable from on set.”

“I move on now with the aim of working hard every day to improve.”

The Black Stars will now take on Comoros next month in the 2018 world cup qualifiers.
