Ghanaians optimistic of massive victory against Benin in opening game

The Black Stars of Ghana will today come face to face with the Squirrels of Benin this evening as both teams take their first match in the ongoing 2019 African Cup of Nations in Egypt.

Though the apathy is conspicuously visible, many Ghanaians are expressing hope and a win for the Stars.

Ghana is in group F with Cameroon, Guinea Bissau and Benin.

Coach Kwesi Appiah has released names of his starting eleven as Richard Ofori- Andy Yiadom, Lumor Agbeyenu, John Boye, Kasim Nuhu- Mubarak Wakaso, Thomas Partey, Thomas Agyepong, Christian Atsu, Andre Ayew and Jordan Ayew.

Though some Ghanaians have no hope of Ghana scoring against Benin, many remain extremely optimistic that this may well be the year for the Black Stars of Ghana to bring success to the country with a victory against Benin in its first match of the tournament.
