Reporting on AIK:s match in La Manga: AIK lost 1-3 in their last training match against Norwegian side, FK Haugesund in La Manga, Spain. All the goals were scored in the first half. The centre of attention was of course Derek Boateng's comeback from injury and he played the full 90 minutes. Kwame Quansah came on in the 45th minute.

Quoting AIK's sports director, Peter Kisfaludy who watched the game live in La Manga:" After half-time, Derek moved to central midfield where he obviously belongs and he was very very good. He took control of the game. In the first half, we were very passive and static. After half-time there was virtually only one team on the pitch - AIK. We completely dominated the game in the second half and the whole team played well, thanks to Derek taking over the playmaker's role in the second half". The Swedish league starts in two weeks. The good news is that Derek is now going to be available for Ghana and AIK.
