Ghanaian defender Nicholas Amponsah has joined United Soccer League side Chattanooga Red Wolves for the upcoming season.
Amponsah joins the USL side form Jamaican club Montego Bay United.
The defender made a mark at Montego Bay United but decided to seek a new challenge by joining Chattanooga Red Wolves in the United States.
The 22-year-old could use his move to Chattanooga Red Wolves as a step to secure himself a huge deal to play mainstream European football or possibly in the Major League Soccer.
The strong center back has joined the club in preseason as they prepare for the 2019 championship.
Chattanooga Red Wolves will begin their USL campaign at home to Forward Madison FC.
