Ghanaian Para-Cyclist in limbo over trip to Switzerland

Ghanaian Para – Cyclist Alem Mumuni has expressed his frustration with regards to his travel plans to Switzerland where he is supposed to camp ahead of World Championships in Italy.

The three-time African Champion is in a confused mood as to whether he will make the trip to Switzerland on Friday 4 March 2016 or not due to failure to secure the needed travel tickets.

In an interview with sportscrusader.com, the former Olympian said, “I just hoping to be there by tomorrow, am in talks with some friends outside the country and they are trying their best to help me with the trip”.

Mumuni said an effort by the National Paralympic Committee (NPC) to help also failed adding that the only alternative was to rely on friends and some well-wishers.
