Black Stars striker David Accam is optimistic the West African side will beat Egypt in the 2018 World Cup qualifier.

The game is scheduled for November 11 in Alexandria.

The Black Stars after their goalless draw game against Uganda will need to justify their participation in Russia 2018 as they face the Pharaohs of Egypt.

Most Ghanaian football lovers are pessimistic of Ghana’s qualification and believe the Black Stars’ poor performance against Uganda limits their chance for qualifying to the global showpiece.

However, Accam insists although their next game against Egypt will be difficult, the team is ready to fulfill the expectations of Ghanaians.

“Egypt is a very good side and is going to be a difficult game for us but this is the type of game that makes you a better player,” the forward noted.

He added: “We know what is at stake for us and ever ready to give out our best to meet the expectations of our Ghanaian fans.”
