Head coach of the Black Starlets, Laryea Kingston, has made it clear that his team will not be thinking about revenge when they come up against Burkina Faso on Saturday, May 25.

The Ghana U-17 team will battle their counterparts from Burkina Faso tomorrow for a place in the final of the WAFU Zone B U17 Championship.

The two national teams met at the same stage of the tournament last year, with Burkina Faso securing a 1-0 win.

Speaking ahead of tomorrow’s meeting, Black Starlets coach Laryea Kingston indicated that revenge is not on the agenda.

"Revenge? No! That's not what we are thinking about," Coach Laryea Kingston said.

He continued, "We have not been to the AFCON since our last appearance in 2017, and so we have a responsibility to return to the tournament. We are playing Burkina Faso, and we'll approach it as one of the games requiring a different mentality, but not because we want revenge."

The game between Ghana and Burkina Faso will be played at the University of Ghana Sports Stadium.

The game is scheduled to kick off at 4 PM
