Ghana striker Majeed Waris voted player of the month at Lorient

Ghana striker Abdul Majeed Waris has been named the player of the month at French Club Lorient.

The 24-year-old was adjudged the best player at the Club after scoring in four successive games.

Waris ended his five-month goal drought after netting against Metz.

The Ghanaian international went on to score against Rennes, Angers and Toulouse.

The forward has been rewarded for his stupendous performance for the Club in the month of November.

He will lead the attack when Lorient takes on Saint-Étienne this weekend.
