Asante Kotoko's Ivorian striker Ahmed Toure, is upbeat about his future with the Porcupine Warriors as he agrees to a new three-year deal with the reds.
"The past is gone. I have put behind me all that happened some years ago. For now, I am looking forward to relaunch my career," he told the GNA Sport.
Toure, who had twice played for Kotoko and left under controversial circumstances, affirmed his resolve to utilize this time the opportunity offered him.
"I hope to have a successful stay with Kotoko and will not hesitate to extend my contract if all goes well," he said.
The Ivorian import lauded management of the team for the confidence reposed in him, promising to work hard in order to rediscover his scoring form.
The controversial striker was voted the best player on the local scene about four seasons ago.
