Ghana's Claud Adjapong handed Italy call up

Italian-born of Ghanaian descent Claud Adjapong has been handed a late call up to the Italy U21 team.

Coach Alberico Evani called up the SasSuolo right back as a replacement for AC Milan’s Davide Calabria who is ruled out with injury.

Italy play against Norway and Serbia on March 22 in Perugia and 27th respectively.

The 19-year-old is following the footsteps of Mario Balotelli who has a Ghanaian heritage but featured for the Azzurris.
