Ghana legend Abedi Pele supports Al Ain in FIFA Club World Cup

Ghana legend Abedi Pele is backing United Arab Emirates club Al Ain to do well in this year's FIFA Club World Cup.

Al Ain have progressed to the next stage of the competition after beating Team Wellinton on penalties in the opening game of the Club World Cup.

Pele who was invited by the Chairman of Al Ain, Ghanim Mubarak Al Hajeri was the stadium to see the game.

Chairman Al-Haejri expressed his happiness at the presence of one of the legends of football who defended the logo of the eye one day, stressing that Bela's affiliation to this entity, which makes him in constant contact with everyone.

Hajeri added: "We are proud to be with us to support Al Ain in the World Championship."

Pele stated that "the eye is not just a club that I played in my football career, but I feel that this place is part of me, because the family spirit is always present and the generations continue to be the most important thing for each member of this entity," he said.

Pele also expressed his appreciation to Al-Hajri for his excellent interaction and reception for all, and wished success to Al Ain in the FIFA World Cup.
