Ghana has been our focus – Uganda’s coach

Uganda Cranes Coach, Milutin ‘Micho’ Sredojevic, has indicated that their main focus has always been on the Black Stars of Ghana, so their loss against Togo in Tuesday’s international friendly, cannot be used as basis for judgement.

The Cranes are due to face the Black Stars of Ghana on October 7th, at the Tamale Sports Stadium in the opener of the 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifiers.

“We have no time to dwell on the result of the game we played against Togo because our focus has always been on the game against Ghana on October 7th.

The Togo game simply helped us identify areas we need to improve and polish some others to help us get a very good result in Tamale.’ Micho said after the training session that lasted close to two hours.

Meanwhile the Cranes are expected to arrive in Ghana on Thursday morning,via Accra to Tamale and train at exactly 16 : 00 GMT.
