Ghana Wheelchair Tennis holds stakeholders meeting

The Ghana wheelchair Tennis held its first stakeholders meeting of the year on Friday, 22nd February 2019 at the players lounge of Accra Sports stadium Tennis court.

In attendance were the president of Ghana Tennis Federation, Coordinator of Ghana Wheelchair tennis, CEO of PMSports Foundation, National Sports Authority Rep. Tennis administrator, Director of Programs /Editor in chief of Tenolf Sports Ghana, Tennis Foundation Ghana and the Wheelchair tennis players.

The meeting was aimed at adopting a developmental strategy to develop Wheelchair tennis in Ghana, motivate players to give out their best and to entice corporate Ghana to sponsor the game.

Mr. Isaac Aboagye Duah thanked management of the Wheelchair Tennis for organizing an ITF International Wheelchair Tennis Futures tournament in November last year.

With an exclusive interview with Tenolfsports.com, Mr. Henry Larbi President of Ghana Wheelchair Tennis said, “His motive is to see Wheelchair Tennis develop in Ghana and he is happy that PMSports Foundation, Tennis Foundation Ghana and Tenolf Sports Ghana have come on board to help develop the game.”

The Ghana Wheelchair Tennis team is preparing to compete in an international friendly match with their Nigerian counterparts. The date for the match will soon be communicated.
