Ghana U20 don away red strip in African Cup qualifier against Gabon in Accra

Ghana have ceded its home colours to their Gabon counterparts as they don the secondary red strip for the first leg African Youth Championships qualifier on Saturday.

The Black Satellites were expected to don the all-white strip since they were at home at the Accra Sports Stadium.

But the team has for reasons yet to be known opted to don the secondary red and yellow strip.

The visiting Gabon team however stuck to their away strip of a predominant white strip with blue trimmings.

Coach Sellas Tetteh’s side hopes to record a resounding win in the first leg encounter to render the return leg in a fortnight a mere formality.
